About The Artist

A little paint. A lot of sparkle. Art with a personality all its own.

I’m a professional rhinestone artist creating high-detail custom bling art, hand-painted portraits, and statement pieces on Canada’s West Coast. My work is for anyone who likes their art expressive, personal, and anything but shy.

From paint to sparkle

My practice brings together hand-painted detail and the light-catching possibilities of rhinestones. Colour, texture, and carefully considered details give each piece its own presence, whether it’s a portrait or a bold statement piece. When a work is a collaboration, the fellow creator is credited alongside it.

West Coast roots

Vancouver Island is my corner of the world, a West Coast connection that’s part of the story behind the sparkle. This is art with an island home and a playful streak.

1. When did you start making art?

I started as soon as I was old enough to hold felts or crayons or a paint brush. I remember being a kid and painting my bedside table (I got in serious trouble) but I just needed to create, no matter what it was.

2. What is your preferred medium to use?

Rhinestones of course! Paint on canvas with bling is my all time favorite and I gravitate towards that more then any others but I have worked with many different mediums. I have been a professional rhinestone artist for almost 10 years and I really love doing commission work, especially of animals.

3. What inspires you to create?

Honestly, everything inspires me. The color of the leaves, the waves of the ocean on this beautiful Island, the swimming of an orca, the wings of a bird flying, the blades of grass, the different colors of sand on a beach, my husband, my child, my dogs, I honestly find inspiration everywhere I look!
